Project Green Flick
Our annual Project Green Flick contest was a huge success!
Between Sept. 13 and Oct. 31, 2010, Omaha-area high school students were encouraged to create a two-minute video about energy efficiency or the environment. This is project was embraced by schools because it was a perfect fit for curriculum, including environmental topics, media and technology, theater, communications, broadcasting and creative writing.
Almost 50 videos were submitted and the winner was …… Xiongfei Zhang from Millard North with his winning video, Cost of the Ordinary, as featured below. Click on our Videos tab to see more 2010 entries!
Keep visiting aimgreenomaha.com for details on our next contest, to be held in Spring 2011.
Students were encouraged to submit videos to the Project Green Flick youtube page.
Submissions not accepted at this time. Here’s a simple breakdown of the rules, you should also take a look at the Official Rules, and then, if you have any further questions, please contact Laurie Zagurski.
